Center Updates

Today I (Jan) edited our policy and procedures booklet for the age of children we will keep on our license. 9 weeks through 9.9 years. This allows for my expertise in early learning to be focused. Though we will keep the ability to care for children older than 5 during summer months, our facility will mainly serve children 9 weeks through 4K. We are currently looking at our numbers increasing but still the age range has to stay within our 3 classrooms. The Aquarium is almost full with 8 full/part time infants under 16 months. The Romper Room is now working with toddlers 13 months through 30 months. Once the children are 2.5 years they can join us in the main classroom for 3k-4k. At this point the building is full and staffing older age groups becomes difficult. We’ll watch what this does for our summer group we love so much!
